A Louisiana-Inspired Celebration by the California Coast
Philadelphia Eagles star A.J. Brown married Kelsey Riley in a beautiful Laguna Beach wedding with lots of personal touches and touches to their roots. The celebrations kicked off on May 15 with a bayou-inspired welcome party at Montage Laguna Beach, complete with a lively New Orleans band, traditional Creole fare such as fried alligator and shrimp and grits, and colorful decor.
Brown, 28, wore a blue-green suit, while Riley, also 28, stunned in a custom Wiederhoeft two-piece set inspired by her Louisiana heritage, featuring gold lamé and hand-applied glass beading.
The next day, the couple exchanged vows on the oceanfront in front of about 200 guests, who dressed in rich browns to honor the couple’s last name. The ceremony served as a touching tribute to both families and their shared love story.
Guests included NFL stars Saquon Barkley, DeVonta Smith, DeKaylin “DK” Metcalf and Deebo Samuel, along with NFL agents, coaches, and close friends from the sports industry.

From Twitter DMs to Forever
A.J. and Kelsey met on Twitter when she tweeted from a friend’s birthday party and he slid into her DMs. Their relationship later led to a romantic engagement on May 2, 2025, at the Four Seasons Hotel Philadelphia.
During the proposal, John Legend serenaded the couple with their favorite song, “Conversations in the Dark,” creating an unforgettable moment for the pair.
A.J. shared that he was excited to continue building a future together and emphasized the importance of loyalty, love, and everyday moments. “I am looking forward to pursue our goals as a team and create a home filled with peace,” he said.
The couple’s wedding reflected their deep connection, blending their Louisiana roots with a scenic California backdrop while setting the stage for a lifetime filled with love, family, and shared adventures.
