Dallas Cowboys cheerleader Kennedy Hannan has officially tied the knot with her longtime love, Nolan Ruff. The couple exchanged vows on Saturday, May 23, at The Midnight Gem in Swisher, Iowa, announcing their union on May 25 with a joint Instagram post captioned, “The Ruffs 🤍.” Hannan shared the post, describing it as “The best day of our lives. I will never get over how perfect it was.”
For their big day, Ruff wore a traditional black suit from SuitShop, adorned with a white rose boutonniere that matched the bouquet carried by Hannan. Bridesmaids wore a timelessly beautiful ball dress with a square neck from Bridal Boutique, customized by Altered For The Altar. Wedding pictures taken by Ella Floral Design showcased sophisticated white flowers with an addition of blue touches. Guests of honor included many other Dallas Cowboys cheerleaders both past and present, who commented on the post with congratulations. Marieka Lescber called their wedding day “The perfect day 🥹🩵,” while McKenna Gehrke shared her happiness saying, “crying all over again😭.”
A cherished tradition continued during the reception as the cheerleaders performed their iconic "Thunderstruck" dance, complete with silver pompoms, as documented by wedding videographer Kara Krantz. Bridesmaid and fellow cheerleader Karley Swindel commented on the performance, “SO much fun!!! You’re glowing @kenn_ruff_ 😍🥹 Love this tradition so much 💙💙.”
The wedding weekend also featured an elegant dinner and a memorable sparkler send-off, capping off a joyous celebration. Hannan and Ruff’s journey began in August 2016 when they connected on Snapchat, leading to their official relationship in October of that year. After approximately eight years together, Ruff proposed to Hannan on September 8, 2024. The newlyweds are now enjoying their honeymoon in a tropical destination, as hinted by Hannan’s beachy Instagram Stories.
