Lainey Wilson and Devlin “Duck” Hodges, both country music stars, tied the knot in an awe-inspiring wedding that took place at the Ruskin Cave in Dickson, Tennessee, in May 2026. The two have been inseparable ever since meeting at a blind date in 2021. They eventually got married after spending countless happy days with each other and enjoying nature around Tennessee.
One of the most significant events before Lainey and Duck said “I do” happened in February 2025 when the former proposed to the latter at the steps of the legendary George Jones estate in Franklin, Tennessee. What made their engagement even more romantic were the rose petals on the ground and photos that showed how much they have loved each other over the course of the last five years.
The Ruskin Cave where their wedding took place became known to Lainey and Duck due to the billboard they saw while driving across Tennessee. Its beauty and simplicity immediately appealed to them, which was why it served as their wedding place.

Working with event planners Hugh Howser and Kate Steele of H Three Events, Wilson and Hodges aimed to create a warm, welcoming, and comfortable atmosphere for their guests, while infusing it with a touch of Cajun flair from Wilson’s Louisiana roots. This was brought to life with a 12-piece jazz band, Rebirth, and a Cajun-inspired meal prepared by chefs from Wilson’s bar, Bell Bottoms Up.
Wilson, known for her signature denim bell bottoms, opted for a custom Oscar de la Renta gown. Collaborating with stylist Alexandra Mandelkorn and the design house, the dress featured delicate Japanese cherry blossoms around the neckline and scattered throughout, symbolizing the couple's commitment to living in the moment. Hodges complemented the bride in a bespoke D. Lacquaniti suit, adorned with custom accessories and boots, styled by his friend Raina Gir.

The ceremony itself took place on a cobblestone ledge at the base of a waterfall on Sunday, May 10. Accompanied by her father, Wilson arrived in a white horse-drawn carriage, walking down the aisle to meet Hodges at the altar, where they were married by their friend and mentor, Wes Williams. The couple shared communion, a moment of profound connection witnessed by their closest family and friends.
Following the ceremony, the legendary New Orleans group Rebirth Brass Band led a spirited second-line march to cocktail hour, bringing a piece of Wilson’s Louisiana heritage to Tennessee. This joyous procession continued to the cave for the reception, where guests enjoyed good food, company, and music, with the dance floor packed all night. The evening concluded with a sparkler send-off for the newlyweds, who drove off in a vintage white Ford truck, embarking on their new chapter as husband and wife.
