Zendaya Says Goodbye to Minimalism With a Bold Statement Skirt

Zendaya is still the name on everyone’s lips in fashion circles this season, and the actress was spotted out and about in New York sporting an ensemble that was very much against the minimalism and simplicity that has been dominating fashion trends. Despite a busy schedule with various engagements and promotional events, the actress has been consistently delivering fashion statements with the expert guidance of Law Roach.

For a recent appearance on Good Morning America, Zendaya opted to wear an ensemble from Erdem’s fall 2026 collection. The ensemble was a monochromatic theme and featured two major trends from the season: the statement skirt and the funnel-neck jacket.

While the ensemble was quite bold and statement-worthy, the black tweed jacket provided a much-needed balance to the ensemble. The feathers added a sense of movement and texture to the ensemble. This ensemble is a major departure from Zendaya’s fashion direction over the recent weeks. While she has been sporting bridal-inspired white ensembles from Vivienne Westwood and Louis Vuitton, this ensemble is a welcome respite from the same.

However, while deviating from the all-white theme, the actress ensured a subtle connection to her latest look via her shoes, opting for classic white Christian Louboutin stilettos. This look, in essence, reflects her capability to merge trends with her narrative, thereby proving her position as one of the most influential style icons of the moment.
