According to Law Roach, securing the rare archival ensemble required years of planning. Six months before the film’s premiere, he quietly contacted the designers' team through Instagram and asked them to reserve the dress without revealing the project. The gown ultimately made its long-awaited appearance at the New York premiere nearly two years later.
Not every outfit required such extensive preparation. For the London premiere, Zendaya wore a futuristic Schiaparelli couture ensemble featuring a sculpted silicone bustier and an LED-illuminated fringed beaded skirt. Roach revealed that he flew to Paris the night before to preview the couture collection in person, allowing the team to secure the runway look only hours before Zendaya stepped onto the red carpet.
