Art and Toy Culture: The Molly Exhibition & Place M
Pop Mart is returning to Shanghai with a brand-new Molly exhibition. Last year’s Labubu and Crybaby exhibitions have been a huge success. This exhibition is centered around Molly, the first signed and proprietary character of Pop Mart. It has collaborated with 21 artists and local artisans in the field of collectible toys and modern art.
Last year, Place M, an independent photography gallery established by two of Japan’s most renowned photographers, Daido Moriyama and Masato Seto, in the 1980s, officially opened in China. This latest exhibition of theirs is about the physical diversity of fashion photography.

Laopu Gold, the trendy Chinese-style gold jewelry brand, has officially opened the doors to their flagship store in the exclusive Plaza 66 in Shanghai. The event was met with the same hype as a Supreme store opening. Despite the current slump in the price of gold, the brand has managed to expand their product line while providing the same high-quality in-store experience as the best high-end fashion brands.
Japanese fashion brand Nanamica has officially opened the doors to their latest store on Wukang Road, which founder Eiichiro Homma describes as the 'Daikanyama of China.' The 750-square-foot L-shaped store features a navy tile exterior, as well as a wooden cabin interior, which provides a 'beach house in the city' feel.
